30.04.12 Crawling Home - 'Spitfires, Misfires & Split Wires'

On this week's Crawling Home, Jamie's hearing (and brain!) have been left imbalanced by a misfiring badboy and his pathetically modified penis-extension. This leads to an evening of misadventure including dangerous hoovers, wearing inappropriate "sexy times" underwear for a doctor's appointment, stolen second-hand gents mags, being beaten 18-0 at Subbuteo and whinging about whingers.

23.04.12 Crawling Home - 'Highs, Lies, Sighs & Thighs'

On Crawling Home, Jamie suggests that the patron saint of England was a pure fantasist, much like his old flatmate who claimed he was a regular Casanova, but really had a cabin bed built entirely from gentleman's literature. There's also talk of losing people and voices, more on the Thursday Recharged Radio Flashmob, imagining that "Orla" from the song by Pepper & Shepherd looks like the lady from the Tic Tac advert, celebrating the ZX Spectrum and a misspent youth....!

There's also talk of "today is the first day of the rest of your life", albums and artists of the year so far, Jamie's no longer a padwan and there's pirates and confessions galore!

02.04.12 Crawling Home - 'Banana-Hammocks'

On Crawling Home this week: We're planning on digging our way out of the bunker for The Great Escape (May 10th - see the events page!). Jamie's got his spoon and is practicing his best puzzled/concerned Steve McQueen face - although admittedly he looks more like an expectant toddler waiting for his pudding. Also on the show, is it time to end Battle of the Bands (unless they involve actual gladiatorial pursuits where bands send their rhythm sections to the slaughter in the coliseum)? Social Networking, is it time to leave party? Any weird and unusual bank holiday rituals? Oh, and did Jamie mention he's excited about The Great Escape on May 10th?! He's already packed his bag with banana-hammocks, buckets & spades, inflatables and windbreakers - we're pained to tell him he probably won't see the beach, but let's humour him nonetheless! P.S. don't forget that Crawling Home takes a break next week, but will return on April 16th for more madcap mayhem! :)
